OneRepublic is an American pop rock band from Colorado Springs, made famous by the single “Apologize”, which went triple platinum in the United States and reached number three on the UK charts on November 11, 2007. A remix of the song was included on Timbaland's album Shock Value and on OneRepublic's debut album Dreaming Out Loud. The band was formed in 2002 in Colorado Springs by vocalist Ryan Tedder and his high school friend Zach Filkins, who played guitar.
