Placebo is a British alternative rock band. Formed in 1994 by two musicians Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal. In 1996, drummer Robert Schulzberg was replaced by Brian's longtime friend Steve Hewitt. On October 1, 2007 Steve Hewitt left the band. In the summer of 2008, Placebo found a new drummer - Steve Forrest. History of the band: Brian Molko was born in Brussels on December 10, 1972 to a Scottish mother and an American father (of French-Italian descent).
