An American rock band formed in 1996 under the name Xero and performing music primarily in the styles of alternative metal, nu metal and rap metal, alternative rock, electronica rock, pop and pop rock. The band's current lineup consists of rhythm guitarist and vocalist Mike Shinoda, guitarist Brad Delson, bassist Dave Farrell, DJ Joe Hahn and drummer Rob Burdon, all of whom are founding members. Vocalists Mark Wakefield and Chester Bennington are former members of the band
